Rotary Drum Blenders
Rotary Blenders, sometimes called Rotary Drum Blenders, are not widely known in the United States but are much better known and more widely used in Europe. They have many unique characteristics including no moving parts inside the machine. As a result, none of the product can get broken or sheered by the mixing blades as would happen with the action of a paddle or ribbon blender. This results in virtually no product degradation during the operation with these blending machines.
Rotary Drum Blenders blend very rapidly and very thoroughly. They can take up less floor space and use less horsepower than other types of industrial blenders. Their initial purchase price is higher than the more common blenders, but due to their speed and efficiency, their cost of operation over a few years will off-set their higher initial purchase price. They come in a large range of sizes and can be customized for special applications. Another unique feature is that they can be located in a comer of your plant right up against a wall, thus optimizing space and can be loaded and unloaded from the same side if desired. They can be batch or continuous blenders and even alternate back and forth, performing both types of blends. They are very versatile, safe and sanitary to operate.

Showroom Blenders
AIM Blending Technologies, Inc. produced the showroom blenders for two of the nation's largest nutraceutical manufacturers. Each company selected a 350 cu ft blender for their showroom. One company chose a low bacteria/mirror finish on both the inside and outside of the blender, including the frame and motor mount. Both companies are exceptionally proud of their real live production showrooms and use them for their customer tours.
