Paddle Blenders

Metal Blade

Paddle blenders have been a part of the American industry for a very long time. Their initial cost, maintenance costs, and production costs per pound of product produced are quite low, plus they are easy to load and unload. A standard model will tend to mound the product in the machine's center unless it is somewhat liquid. However, you can easily reduce this mounding by adjusting some of the blades.

They suit many applications, but paddle blenders are especially useful for tasks where gentle blending is required, such as coating nuts, mixing items like potato or seafood salad, or creating slurries like spaghetti sauce. Likewise, they excel at creating deliberate swirls, like caramel ribbons running through ice cream or colored swirls in concrete or stucco. With an attached heating jacket, these industrial mixers cook and blend at the same time. Add a cooling jacket, and they keep products in motion while they cool down.

Showroom Blenders

Inside A Paddle Mixer

We’ve had the pleasure of creating showroom blenders for two of the largest nutraceutical manufacturers in the United States. Each company request a 350-cu. ft. industrial blending machine. One opted for a custom low bacteria/mirror finish on the blender’s inside and outside, plus the frame and motor mount. Both companies are very proud of their “live production” showroom and show them off to customers on tours.
